37 hours Are you the type of person who enjoys learning how processes work and then using that knowledge to solve data requests? Do you have a keen eye for detail and are looking to start your career in data analysis and reporting? What’s the role? You won’t just be staring at numbers all day. You’ll be communicating with the many varied teams across Watford’s largest housing association; learning what they do and what their data means to them and ensuring the data quality is maintained to allow the business to achieve their goals. You will be creating documentation and processes for KPIs and assisting with the delivery of effective and accurate reports to Executive, Board and other operational committees – within their strict deadlines. What are we looking for? As a Reporting and Development Apprentice you’ll need good attention to detail and an interest in learning how data comes together. Professional experience with data manipulation and analysis is not expected, but having some practical experience in Microsoft Excel, would be a point in your favour. Being able to communicate about data is almost as important as knowing how it works, and we are looking for someone with solid oral and written communication skills to liaise with different areas of the business, understand their requirements, and then faithfully represent them. Good understanding on data protection as you may be asked to work with data that is sensitive, either to the business or to your colleagues, and we are looking for someone with the maturity to understand what that means. What can we offer you? We know that people are our most valuable assets, so we offer a range of benefits including 28 days’ annual leave pro rata, an employer pension contribution of up to 11%, development opportunities and access to a comprehensive employee rewards scheme. How we work We are committed to embracing the most positive aspects of agile working. We take a blended approach to how we work, so that colleagues have the flexibility to strike the right balance between working in our communities, in our shared spaces and remotely. With digital technology at the heart of our work, teams and individuals are empowered to decide the best way to meet the needs of their role.
