Job title: Maintenance Supervisor - Electrical Bias
Location: Samlesbury - On site
Salary: Starting £47,683
What you'll be doing:
* The supervision of in-house multi-functional maintenance teams undertaking planned preventative and reactive maintenance tasks whilst maintaining health, safety and environment responsibilities as a priority
* Co-ordination and prioritisation of workload in line with agreed objectives, customer demands, and resource/skill set availability
* Leading and motivating the teams to create a high-performance culture
* Management of contractors & suppliers to ensure the delivery of services in line with BAE SYSTEMS requirements, including the review of contractor RAMS and the utilisation of contractor management systems
* Supporting new project & investment initiatives, along with promoting CI activity
* Support your management team with regards to quality management, service delivery, budgetary adherence/forecasting, leadership, and coaching relation to your own department
* A requirement to work overtime and/or weekends to support contractor led activities
Your skills and experiences:
* Demonstrable Supervisory experience in an engineering / maintenance environment with a strong electrical technical background
* A good understanding of production machinery, systems, and processes
* Experience of Chemical processes beneficial but not essential
* Previous experience of safe working practices including Risk Assessments, Permit to Work, Safe Isolation and Management of External Contractor procedures
* Experience and ability to plan, organize and structure maintenance activities in line with business and management directives
* Customer focus and ability to deal with demanding customers in relation to maintenance activities
