We are recruiting for an Educational Specialist to work in our Community Paediatrics team.
Your role will be to support the best possible outcome for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) – in particular neurodiversity - by working in partnership with other professionals within the Community Paediatric services, as part of the multidisciplinary neurodevelopmental (ND) team.
The Community Paediatrics service strives to provide high quality, evidence-based, flexible and integrated services to children and young people with developmental and/or complex health needs and their families.
As an Educational Specialist, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate holistic care in relation to care planning/pathways.
You will make recommendations to decision makers in order to drive forward innovative solutions to achieve business objectives, service improvement strategies, and financial efficiencies linked to packages of prescribed care or identified projects.
In addition, you will actively work as a member of the integrated team to ensure high-quality care is provided to service users.
Term time only contracts will be considered.
