Project Accountant Annual Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 Bonus Location: UK with responsibilities in the Netherlands Job Type: Full-time Day-to-day of the role: Manage and report on the financial health of each project, ensuring a seamless connection between operations and fiscal responsibility. Track project expenditures and conduct budget analysis to forecast financial outcomes. Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports including management accounts, cash forecasts, and project-specific reports. Process and analyse data in conjunction with project appraisal and finance business partnering with key stakeholders. Prepare statutory returns and reports such as VAT, CIS, and ICP Declarations. Work closely with the managing director to implement the Group’s expansion plans and assist in the preparation of the annual budget. Collaborate with local auditors to maintain audit files and assist with the close out of the year-end audit. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience as a Project Accountant or similar role, ideally within a technology or construction environment. Strong understanding of financial regulations in the Netherlands and the UK. Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in financial forecasting and budgeting. Ability to engage effectively with clients, contractors, and suppliers, ensuring financial clarity and adherence to contractual agreements.
