ABC Teachers are seeking experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistants to work within a mainstream primary school within the Halesowen area.
You will be workingclosely with the class teacher to help support pupils in Reception who need additional support.
About the role
The student you will be working alongside is awaiting diagnosis, however has suspected ASD as well as some behaviour needs due to communication barriers.
You will be working full-time from 08:30 – 15:30 5 days per week until the end of the academic year.
The right person needs to have a passion for supporting pupils, experience working with SEND and the ability to form good relationships with students.
To be considered for the SEN Teaching Assistant position, you will:
* Have previous experience working with SEND children
* Have a suitable Level 3 qualification to work with young people
* Have strong communications skills with all stakeholders
* Able to cater to different children’s needs

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Level 3 Teaching Assistant you will:
* Have a DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
* Have a Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent
* Have referable experience of you working with children
* SEN experience would be highly desirable
* Be calm, nurturing and approachable
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
* A Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent
