Benefits: Holiday pay Temp to perm opportunity Full training is provided Many of our candidates return year after year Access to the Randstad benefits app Local bus stops and train stations Free parking on site and street parking is available in the surrounding area Job overview: Under the direction of the Materials Value Stream Leader and Materials Lead Operators, working as a member of the warehouse team; responsible for conducting all activities within Warehouse and Material Handling to ensure that all materials are prepared via the MES Replenishment system and delivered in a timely manner to the Production lines. Responsibilities: Using the Forklift / Pedestrian trucks for loading/unloading of transport vehicles and movement of products within the warehouse Conducting regular Cycle Counts via the MES system Completion of Racking Inspections and reporting any damage as a matter of priority Movement of products within the warehouse to ensure correct and appropriate location storage Receive goods delivery and ensure they are fully documented, booked in the system and report any quality issues immediately Conduct inspection & cleaning of outer packaging of product if it is not suitable for production to use before it is moved into an area for production use. Prepare Finished Goods for shipment as per documentation Drive trucks in a safe manner at all times with no exception Ensure all MES transactions are completed correctly and in real time as per relevant Work InstructionsMaterials Handling: Loading and Unloading of the Shuttle that transfers materials to and from the offsite warehouse Wrapping of all Finished Goods and Raw Materials using the Pallet Wrapper, ready to be sent to the offsite Warehouse Conduct regular Cycle Counts via the MES System Management of recycling to include bailing, compacting and tipping of scrap Management of the Waste Management area to be kept tidy at all times Supply of Materials to VS1, VS2 & Motan via the replenishment system in a timely manner To feedback any issues with reference to Replenishment to the Materials Value Stream Leader or the Warehouse Lead Operator Signing of small parcel deliveries within the Dorcan warehouse Ensure all MES transactions are completed correctly and in real time as per relevant Work InstructionsRequirements: Must have an in-date/valid forklift license (counterbalance) Good knowledge of all related warehouse activities - Minimum 2 years' experience required PC knowledge - to include Microsoft OfficeDesirable: VNA, PPT ride on truck Knowledge of SAP Knowledge of MES or other Scanning systems If this interests you, please apply immediately with your updated CV and our team will contact you to discuss further
