Leapfrog Therapies is a modern and progressive company providing a variety of education and therapy services for children and young people. We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced ABA Therapist to join our team! If you’re passionate about delivering values-driven behaviour and education programs, this could be the role for you! All programs have behaviour analysis at the core, as well as a strong PBS framework, Verbal Behaviour Approach, and incorporate education research, parenting research, attachment theory and trauma-informed care.
Main duties:
* You will work with 1 client in Blackpool (1-5 sessions a week, depending on your availability).
* You will provide therapy in the client’s home, using initiative and keeping resources organised.
* Targets cover communication, play skills, and academic support.
* Sessions incorporate a lot of natural environment teaching.
* You will work closely with parents and supervisor/consultant.
* You will receive regular support and training from the Senior Consultant (BCBA/UKBA supervision can be included in this role).
Essential:
* You must have previous ABA experience working with children, at least 6 months.
* You must be open to learning new approaches and procedures.
* You must be reliable and committed.
* You must have excellent communication skills.
* You must have the right to work in the UK.
* You must have a clean DBS.
Desirable:
* You may have availability to work with additional children in the future.
* You may have previous experience with PBS.
* You may have use of a car for ease of getting to clients.
