Imperial Consulting is expanding in Glasgow, and we are looking for a driven Customer Sales Advisor to join our growing team. You’ll be working directly with customers, offering personalized advice and utility solutions that fit their unique needs. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys face-to-face interaction, problem-solving, and delivering value through consultative sales.
Key Responsibilities:
* Engage with customers in person at retail locations, events, and pop-up stands, providing tailored recommendations on energy, broadband, and gas services.
* Conduct personalized consultations to understand each customer’s needs and offer appropriate utility packages.
* Guide customers through the sales process, ensuring they feel informed and comfortable with their decisions.
* Follow up on leads generated at events and maintain contact with potential clients to convert interest into sales.
* Help customers compare utility options, explaining the benefits of switching to new providers or upgrading their current services.
* Build lasting relationships with customers by offering ongoing support and checking in to ensure satisfaction after the sale.
* Achieve personal and team sales targets, contributing to the overall success of the company.
* Collaborate with the marketing and sales team to improve engagement strategies and drive growth.
Requirements:
* Full right to work in the UK (unfortunately, we cannot consider Tier 4 or PSW visas).
* Must not have applied for any Imperial Consulting roles in the past 30 days.
* Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
* Ability to understand and explain technical utility information in a simple, clear way.
* Previous experience in a customer-facing or sales role is an advantage but not required—full training is provided.
* A proactive approach to sales, with the ability to meet and exceed targets.
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail when managing customer inquiries and follow-ups.
