We're seeking a dynamic Senior Site Manager to enhance our Rail and Infrastructure team. In this pivotal role, you'll support the Contracts Manager in overseeing various arboriculture projects across the Northeast. Your expertise will be instrumental in propelling our projects forward, making previous arboriculture experience essential.
What you will achieve:
* Collaborate closely with the contract manager to oversee daily operations and ensure strict adherence to safety protocols on-site through regular audits and inspections.
* Maintain efficiency and agility in managing fluctuating workloads while offering guidance and support to field-based teams to enhance cohesion and productivity.
* Skillfully price work and execute projects, delivering results that exceed expectations, while simultaneously leading the thorough scoping of sites, meticulously assessing project requirements and constraints.
* Develop comprehensive task briefs to provide clear direction and alignment with project objectives, and engage with clients to address concerns and maintain satisfaction.
* Effectively manage working hours to ensure the safety and well-being of all personnel on-site, and strategically plan possessions to minimise disruptions and maximise efficiency.
* Oversee the seamless execution of projects, promptly addressing any issues that arise to ensure project continuity and quality.

Who we are looking for:
To be successful in this role you will need previous arboriculture experience, preferably in the rail industry, as well as the following:
* Proficiency in managing dynamic workloads and adapting to changing circumstances.
* Adeptness in working swiftly and decisively, even in uncertain environments.
* Strong reactive management skills, capable of swift and effective decision-making.
* Flexibility to travel and undertake overnight stays as necessary, including ad hoc weekend work.
* Essential certifications including PTS (Personal Track Safety) and a valid driving license.
We are particularly welcoming applications from existing Site Managers possessing SMSTS, IOSH, NEBOSH, First Aid plus F and COSS.
