About the Company
Our client is a leading player in the Energy sector, renowned for their commitment to safety, innovation, and sustainability. They are entering the commissioning phase of a major CAPEX development and require a HSE Inspector for up to 9 months initially.
About the Role
As an HSE Inspector, you will ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards across the project. You will perform inspections, review risk assessments, and monitor adherence to the Project Health and Safety Plan, Environmental Management Plan, and permit-to-work processes.
You will play a key role in promoting a strong safety culture, providing feedback to workers, and addressing barriers to safe practices. Additionally, you will support incident investigations, contribute to KPI reporting, and advise the Project Management Team on HSE issues.
About You
To excel in this role, you will need:
* NEBOSH qualification (or working towards diploma) and IOSH essential
* Previous experience working on a COMAH site
* A strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations, with the ability to provide practical guidance.
* Proven experience conducting inspections, audits, and implementing safety measures in high-risk environments.
* Familiarity with risk assessment processes and permit-to-work systems.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to promote safety culture and provide balanced feedback.
* Analytical skills to investigate incidents and develop actionable solutions.
* Minimum 2 years experience.
