What you'll be doing
As a Managing Quantity Surveyor you will:
* Manage customer and stakeholder management for their area of responsibility
* Risk and opportunity analysis
* Advise on contractual matters and formulating correspondence
* Undertake benchmarking exercises & sets / monitors Performance indicators (KPI)
* Report and explain the commercial progress to senior project staff
* Cost Planning and pre-contract cost control
* Evaluate and negotiate tenders including Subcontractors and suppliers
* Assess and identify risks and opportunities as part of risk management.
Who we're looking for
You will have the following:
* BSc/HNC/NHD in Quantity Surveying/Civil Engineering or experience equivalent
* Experience of working to NEC forms of contract
* Strategic Management experience
* Team Management experience
* Civil Engineering/Framework experience
* Membership of RICS, ICES or CICES would be beneficial but not essential.
