Registered Service Manager - Supported accommodation Aventa Care Limited is a brand new business set up to provide supported accommodation to young asylum seekers (16-18 year olds) Our aim is to provide our Service Users with comprehensive support, tailored towards promoting adulthood independent living, to assist them with integrating into society, all to enhance their lives ahead. Whilst under our care, Service Users will be provided with a warm and safe home, in a well nurtured environment. Join us on this exciting new venture. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Service Manager to join our new team, on a full time, permanent basis. Initially, you will be involved in regulatory administration, submitting the OFSTED application, building your support team and setting up the workplace around you to ensure quality support/care from the outset. As a Registered Service Manager, you will be responsible for setting up/ overseeing the day-to-day operations of our facility and ensuring the highest quality of care and support for our Service Users. This is a leadership role that requires strong management skills and a deep understanding of the services provided. Duties: Duties include, but are not limited to the following: Complete OFSTED registration as Registered Service Manager Manage and supervise a team of support staff, ensuring they provide compassionate and person-centered support to Service Users Develop and implement support plans tailored to each of the Service Users Conduct regular assessments of service users' well-being, adjusting support plans as necessary Coordinate with healthcare professionals, families, and external agencies to ensure comprehensive support Oversee the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date records, and incident reports Monitor compliance with regulatory standards (OFSTED and others) Provide support and guidance to staff in handling challenging situations or complex support needs Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork and professional development. Experience: NVQ level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (childrens residential) NVQ level 3 Health & social care Comprehensive understanding & awareness of OFSTED legislation 2 years experience in a residential setting (adult/children) in the last 5 years is required. Comprehensive understanding & awareness of The Supported Accommodation (England) Regulations 2023 Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Proficient in record keeping We are seeking an OFSTED 'outstanding' rating, and a £5,000 bonus will be paid upon achievement. Driving Licence required Bonus: £5,000 for achieving OFSTED 'outstanding' rating performance related bonus.
