The role
As a Compliance Business Planner, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary In this role, you will be responsible for providing planning and scheduling functions to deliver Design Authority (DA) Safety Case and Design projects. You will work closely with a team of engineers and management to ensure project tasks are completed on time and within budget. You key responsibilities will include:
* Input, monitor, and control all DA tasking to Level 4 on relevant Project Plan platforms (IFS/SAP, P6, and/or MS Project).
* Monitor work in progress and highlight any issues regarding task delivery to DA Engineers and Management.
* Maintain rigorous project change control, including providing 'What If' scenarios advice.
* Liaise with approximately 100 engineers and associated management to ensure compliance with schedules and reduce risk to KPIs and delivery.
* Attend weekly planning meetings to provide information on new work, changes, trends, norms, and lessons learned.
* Prepare and report on planning reports and metrics, including KPI data, resource profiles, schedule variance, and look-ahead reports.
* Provide support to wider Compliance (Infrastructure) requirements as needed, such as minute secretary support and documentation control.
Many of these responsibilities can be developed once in post.
This role is full time, 4 days per week Monday to Thursday, 9hrs/per day and provides remote working arrangements with only occasional visits onsite to HMNB Clyde (Faslane), near Helensburgh.
Essential experience of the Compliance Business Planner
* Experience in planning and schedule management, including preparation, maintenance, and reporting of project programs and change control.
* Strong numeric skills with attention to detail.
* Knowledge of Nuclear Site Safety Justification documentation and associated due processes would be advantageous
Qualifications for the Compliance Business Planner
* HNC in relevant discipline or Equivalent Experience
* Practitioner in the use of Primavera and IFS/SAP- training will be provided
* Practitioner in the use of Microsoft Office & Microsoft Project software

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
