Job summary
Assess patients' requirements, in relation to their goals. Plan, manage and review functional and psychological restoration for individuals and groups. Review care plans at timely intervals and communicate effectively with the patient's GP, advising on ongoing and flare up management plans agreed with the patient. Provide safe, effective and dignified care according to best practice and national guidelines.
Main duties of the job
We at Connect Health are delighted to be growing our team of talented clinicians and are currently looking for a Pain Clinical Specialist Occupational Therapist (Clinical Specialist) who is passionate about providing high-quality patient-centred care to join us as part of a large multidisciplinary team in the North West Pain Services. The successful candidate will be required to work a hybrid working pattern facilitating face to face and remote clinics in a number of sites in the North Manchester, Rochdale, Tameside and West Lancs areas for Pain Management Programmes both face to face and online and telephone reviews. They will be joining a multidisciplinary team of physiotherapists, nurses and wellbeing practitioners who are committed and passionate about providing a biopsychosocial model of care to people with persistent pain. We are dedicated to delivering the highest level of patient care, in the most efficient and cost-effective way, with re-investment to ensure services are sustainable. We are looking for well-organised Pain Clinical Specialist Occupational Therapist (Clinical Specialist), to deliver quality clinical care for patients with chronic pain. Whilst undertaking comprehensive assessment and diagnosis of patients with a wide variety of physical and emotional needs, you must formulate, deliver, review and progress individual treatment programmes.
