Role Overview: As a Resident Liaison Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring effective communication between residents, contractors, and the housing maintenance team. You will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, resolving resident concerns, and supporting the smooth running of social housing projects. The role is key to promoting positive relationships, enhancing satisfaction, and supporting community engagement. Key Responsibilities: Act as the main point of contact for residents throughout the duration of housing projects, ensuring they are informed and supported at all stages. Address and resolve residents’ concerns and queries in a professional and timely manner. Provide clear communication to residents about project timelines, disruptions, and updates. Coordinate meetings and events, ensuring that residents are fully informed about ongoing works and developments. Work closely with contractors and other external teams to ensure that works are completed in a way that minimizes disruption to residents. Support the delivery of resident surveys and feedback initiatives to improve services and satisfaction. Assist in the delivery of key social housing initiatives and community engagement programs. Provide reports and updates to the housing management team as required. Essential Skills and Experience: Experience in a resident liaison, customer service, or similar role within social housing or property management. Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact with residents, contractors, and colleagues professionally. Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities. Empathy and a commitment to providing high-quality service to residents. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good organizational and time-management skills.
