We are looking for a proactive Risk and Insurance Manager to lead our external insurance arrangements, Risk Management Strategy, and Risk Management Champions group.
You will manage our self-insurance provision and actuarial assessments, negotiate insurance premiums, and oversee claims settlements. You will also develop our Risk Management Strategy and train our team in managing risk.
You will be a skilled leader who can drive change, preferably with experience from the commercial insurance sector. A strong understanding of insurance and risk management is essential, as is a degree or equivalent experience, relevant insurance qualifications, and excellent communication skills.

You would work a 37-hour working week. We can also offer 27 days of annual leave, increasing to 32 days after 5 years of service, plus bank holidays, compensated by a competitive salary and a generous pension scheme that will be completely unrivalled in the private sector.
