Job Title: Assistant Manager/Supervisor
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic, passionate Assistant Manager or strong Supervisor to support our Site Manager with the operations of a lovely, country pub. The ideal candidate will be responsible for helping manage all aspects of the venue. You will lead, motivate and develop the team to ensure exceptional customer service and drive profitability.
DUTIES:
1. Recruiting, training and supervising staff
2. Managing budgets
3. Maintaining financial records
4. Planning and problem solving
5. Promoting and marketing the business
6. Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and licensing laws
7. Giving an incredible experience to our customers
8. Placing orders
9. Stock-taking and re-stocking
10. Handling administration and paperwork
11. Organising and promoting social events such as quizzes, karaoke evenings, live music and live comedy
12. Liaising with customers, employees, suppliers, licensing authorities, sales representatives and the police
13. Marketing products
14. Making improvements to the running of the business
15. Setting targets and maximising profitability
SKILLS:
1. Proven experience in management
2. Strong leadership and team management skills
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
4. Knowledge of trends and best practices
5. Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Permanent
Pay: £11.44-£12.80 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
