This is a newly created role, offering the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders in a commercially focused, strategic finance position. This business operates in a dynamic, performance-driven sector and has ambitious plans for the next 3-5 years. As part of their continued investment in their finance function, they are seeking a commercially astute and forward-thinking qualified accountant to take ownership of key areas of analysis, strategic planning and business partnering. Key Responsibilities As Senior Commercial Finance Analyst you will be responsible for the following: Lead detailed sales performance analysis, identifying key trends and drivers to support decision-making Drive margin analysis across products, channels and customers, with a view to improving profitability Monitor and interpret key KPI's across the business, providing actionable insight to senior leaders Play a pivotal role in budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with commercial objectives Support long-term strategic planning, including detailed 5-year plans and scenario modelling Partner with commercial and operational teams to challenge assumptions and influence business strategy Present clear and concise analysis to finance and non-finance stakeholders alike Key Requirements For this Senior Commercial Finance Analyst role the successful candidate will possess the following: Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) Strong commercial acumen, with a proven track record in a similar analytical or business partnering role Excellent Excel and financial modelling skills; experience with BI tools is a plus Able to work with pace and precision in a fast-moving environment Confident communicator, comfortable challenging senior stakeholders and adding value beyond the numbers Degree in accountancy, business or economics.
