Are you a Registered Pharmacy Technician looking to move into a Homecare lead role and wish to further develop your professional leadership and Homecare skills.
We are looking for a highly capable, enthusiastic and motivated Pharmacy Technician with extensive experience of hospital pharmacy to join our friendly Pharmacy Team. The post involves working in a patient focused department, supported by skilled colleagues.
This post would ideally suit those with a background in homecare, with good communication skills and initiative and the ability to work accurately whilst meeting deadlines.
Relevant experience is desirable including experience of financial work, the ability to perform accurate data analysis and reporting and the ability to resolve financial queries and problems. A good knowledge of IT is desirable, preferably excel.

Main duties of the job
You will be responsible to the Chief Pharmacist for the management, development, implementation and co-ordination of homecare medicines services for Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust, which consists of Frimley Park Hospital and Wexham Park Hospital.
To advise and work with the clinical teams for the Homecare services across both sites and to keep them informed of new services that may arise.
To line manage the staff within the Pharmacy Homecare Service team across both sites in order to ensure the effective operation of the service.

To be responsible for homecare medicines being procured in a timely, safe, cost effective and auditable manner.
To be responsible for ensuring that legally valid, clinically screened prescriptions are processed and sent to the Homecare companies in a timely manner.
To manage the contractual requirements of the Homecare Service with providers and commissioners.
To monitor and report on the service performance of Homecare companies with agreed contracts, in conjunction with clinical teams.
