Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
Photography Assistance:
* Assist the photographer during photo shoots by preparing and setting up equipment, including cameras, lighting, reflectors, and backdrops
* Help with props and product organisation, ensuring everything is styled and ready for each shoot
* Support with capturing test shots, setting up scenes and adjusting lighting
* Assist in the management of the shoot schedule
Image Retouching & Post-Production:
* Retouch photographs using Adobe Photoshop
* Perform colour correction, exposure adjustments and cropping to meet specific project requirements
* Remove blemishes, unwanted objects, and imperfections while maintaining a natural look
* Work closely with the photographer and creative team to meet project briefs, ensuring the final images align with the brand guidelines
* Organise and archive images, ensuring they are properly labelled, filed and stored on Google Drive for easy access

* Develop and maintain effective working relationships with clients, colleagues and suppliers, establishing and using professional contacts.
* Engage and respond with audiences through social media, adapting content to respond to evolving circumstances.
* Monitor user experience to ensure content is focused on maximising engagement.
* Analyse the differences between audiences using audience segmentation techniques and data.
* Use lessons learned to evaluate the success of the content and identify areas for improvement for future campaigns.
* Use continuing professional development planning to support own current and future training and development needs.
