Job Opportunity: Sales Ledger | Part-Time

I am currently looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Part-Time Sales Ledger to join my clients team in Glasgow. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in an administrative and finance-focused role, and who is looking to work in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Processing Orders: Accurately process customer orders, ensuring all details are entered correctly into the system.
* Maintain & Update Client Records: Keep client records and credit limits up-to-date.
* Invoice & Payment Processing: Process invoices in a timely manner and ensure payments are made and tracked efficiently.
* Chasing Outstanding Debt: Proactively chase overdue payments in a professional and courteous manner to reduce outstanding debt.
* Prepare Debt Reports: Regularly prepare reports on outstanding debts for senior staff, highlighting any potential concerns or trends.
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience in Sales Ledger/Accounts: Experience in a sales ledger or accounts role is preferred but not essential.
* Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in data entry and financial records.
* Organised: Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
* Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, with the ability to chase payments professionally and liaise with clients effectively.
* Self-Motivated: The ability to work independently, showing initiative in managing workloads and deadlines.
