The Team Member shall be part of a team carrying out planned & reactive maintenance duties, with a specific focus on pipefitting, across all departments of the Stocksbridge Works. Carry out pipework fabrication, installations & replacement across site to agreed plans Fabricate structural steel items of varying grades & thicknesses, working from engineering drawings. Responsible for own workload and ensure all tasks are completed to relevant deadlines Utilise CMMS to maintain services by completing and feeding back planned and reactive work. Key competencies are a methodical approach to work with attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills, decision-making skills and effective verbal communication. A current driving license is essential Requirement of the Structural Team Member Essential Trained to a recognised standard for welding & pipefitting activities. Experience using a variety of welding equipment and processes, including, MMA/MIG/TIG/Oxy Fuel cutting. Pipefitting Experience of heavy/light pipework essential with Plating and welding experience also an advantage. Ability and experience of working to weld procedures. Computerised Maintenance Management System (INFOR).Training will be provided if necessary Understanding of welding & pipework standards. Experience desirable (but not essential) in testing and inspecting welded surfaces and structures to discover flaws by testing techniques such as MPI, Dye Penetrant etc. Ability to read and understand engineering and technical drawings and work with technical data. Must be multi-skilled in a heavy industrial environment. Plating and welding experience of heavy and light fabrications. The Working Pattern of the Structural Team Member The Shift pattern is days working one in two weekends.
