Key Responsibilities
1. Provide executive leadership in the continuous evaluation of short and long term strategic financial objectives and offer recommendations to enhance financial performance and business opportunities.
2. Ensure the continued financial health and success of the organization by effectively planning and managing global financial resources.
3. Manage and monitor global entities' liabilities and investments for financial risks and determine strategies by considering cash and liquidity risks.
4. Provide timely and accurate analysis of budget, financial trends, and forecasts.
5. Partner with investment advisors and report to executive management and the Board of Directors advising on the investment portfolio.
6. Develop tools and systems to provide critical financial and operational information to the CEO and executive management team and make recommendations on strategy and operations.
7. Analyze cash flow, forecasting, debt needs and rate management, foreign exchange management, cost controls, and all financials to identify areas of improvement.
8. Provide leadership and oversight for all accounting and finance team members at headquarters and multi-plant locations, R&D centers, and sales offices globally.
9. Actively participate in Executive Management Team meetings; provide updates relating to financials and other areas of responsibility.
10. Establish and report against KPIs for the business.
11. Responsible for preparing the annual 3-year and 5-year business plan.
12. Oversee tax group and ensure tax reports and filings are completed, including 401K plant administration for the US, US payroll, and global profit sharing calculations.
13. Oversee the organization's risk management, including establishing and improving internal controls and procedures.
14. Evaluate personnel and develop a strong accounting and finance team.
15. Evaluate strategic growth opportunities through expansion and/or M&A (mergers and acquisitions).
16. Oversee IT, Legal, and HR, partnering with all groups on strategic initiatives and business decisions.
17. Ensure all goals and objectives are clearly communicated with all team members and executive staff, and expectations are clear and effectively communicated when changes occur.
18. Demonstrate and lead by example, maintaining a professional environment and driving a collaborative and open-door policy with a positive mindset and mentality.
