Position
We are looking for someone who has worked as a QS (Qualifying Supervisor) before and is familiar with NICEIC systems. The role is for someone based in the North of England, ideally not Scotland based but someone who could cover work in Scotland, Cumbria, North West, and North East.
Duties
* Supervise and oversee all electrical installations to ensure compliance with current regulations and standards.
* Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor the quality of work and adherence to safety protocols.
* Provide technical guidance and support to the electrical team.
* Ensure all electrical work is completed to a high standard and within the allocated timeframes.
* Manage and maintain records of all electrical certifications and documentation.
* Liaise with contractors, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and effective coordination of work.
* Lead training sessions for the electrical team to ensure everyone is updated on the latest industry standards and practices.
Requirements
* Proven experience as an Electrical Qualifying Supervisor, particularly in residential or housing sectors.
* Strong understanding of electrical systems and safety standards.
* Excellent leadership and supervisory skills.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Skills & Qualifications
* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent qualification
* City and Guilds 2391 in Testing and Inspection
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification
* Proven experience in domestic and commercial electrical installations
* Strong technical knowledge, with an eye for detail and a passion for quality
* Motivated, self-sufficient, and ready to collaborate with a team that strives for excellence
