As Account Handler, you will provide a high level of support to the Branch Director, dealing with a variety of cases varying in size and complexity. This will mainly involve cases generating brokerage income of £10,000 - £50,000, with some notable exceptions much larger than this, and occasionally connected SME cases. Clients could be from a wide range of industry sectors, such as Construction, Manufacturing, Property Owners, or Waste/Recycling.
We welcome applications from Senior Account Handlers with experience in dealing with large and complex cases, as well as less-experienced Account Handlers and Brokers who can assist with policy administration and processing. It is essential to have a good understanding of all common commercial covers and be comfortable dealing with clients from diverse backgrounds. You should also be well-organised, with excellent task management skills and the ability to prioritise your own workload. Knowledge of the Acturis broking platform would be advantageous.
This forward-thinking broker advocates modern-working practices, allowing you to work remotely for a significant portion of your working week if desired.
This role offers numerous opportunities for progression, including potential advancement to a managerial role or client-facing Account Executive position.
You will benefit from a competitive basic salary anticipated between £35,000 - £45,000 (negotiable for outstanding candidates), a generous bonus, and one of the best benefits packages in the industry, comparable to those found with global brokers. Additionally, you will receive 28 days holiday (plus bank holidays) a year, and the company is known for taking staff on all-expenses-paid weekends away at destinations like Ibiza or the Algarve.
