About the Post
The Timetabling Experience Advisor works collaboratively with course teams and support services to develop and publish academic timetables which are in line with agreed principles and practice. The role holder is expected to develop strong working relationships with staff in an identified portfolio of courses while developing a broad knowledge base of the fundamental principles of timetabling and the University of Suffolk approach.
Working in this post, you will be expected to:
* Proactively support course teams to develop a ‘whole-course’ timetable to support students in engaging with course-based and extra-curricular or co-curricular activities.
* Take responsibility for the delivery and publication of a range of timetables for an identified portfolio ensuring coherence and a student-focussed approach.
* Monitor facility and resource usage for the identified portfolio ensuring the right spaces are used for the right activities.
* Proactively and intentionally enhance the academic experience of our students through your work.
About you:
* To support your success in this role, we ask that you have:
* A level 6 qualification or equivalent.
* Demonstrable experience of working across teams in a student-focussed environment.
* Robust experience as an excellent administrator with excellent knowledge of Microsoft products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Strong interpersonal and intercultural communication skills, written and verbal.
* Ability to work flexibly, calmly and accurately whilst meeting deadlines.
* Ability to enter and manipulate data with a strong attention to detail.
* A ‘can do’, positive attitude.
