An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced programme manager to join the Transformation Team at the Kirklees Health & Care Partnership. This is a permanent opportunity to lead on the delivery of key strategic programmes of work.
We are looking for a highly skilled, motivated person to provide expertise and senior leadership across key transformational priorities, collaborating with system partners, both locally and at a West Yorkshire level across all aspects of health and social care.
The post holder will have strategic and/or operational experience in the delivery of transformational programmes and projects. Along with strong project and programme management skills, the post holder will be an excellent communicator who can raise awareness and understanding of programmes, reduce barriers, build effective partnerships, and encourage collaborative working to improve services and drive quality and performance outcomes.
Main duties of the job
Working as part of the Transformation team, the post will focus largely on key national and local priorities. You will be a key member of a team focused on partnership delivery of programmes across the life course.
This will require significant involvement with clinical and non-clinical professionals from local authority, primary care, community, hospital, and voluntary organisations who deliver services to our population.
You will proactively engage with national, regional, and local networks, seeking out opportunities for collaboration and to share learning. You will be experienced in project and programme management methodology and have a track record of successfully developing and implementing service transformation, evaluation, or change programmes. You will have experience of operating across organisations and geographical boundaries using your highly developed motivational skills to encourage participation.

Job responsibilities
To provide expertise and senior leadership across the transformation team and key partners across health and social care to improve the health and wellbeing of local people, by reducing health inequalities, providing continuity of care, and improving our services.
The post holder will lead work in the Transformation Team, working closely with identified Clinical Leads in coordinating and working with wider partners to develop and deliver locally agreed plans and strategies.
To hold a key role in the development of local strategic partnerships to ensure there are cost-effective services that improve health outcomes.
To be the day-to-day lead responsible for the implementation, development, and coordination of agreed service development and transformation workstreams.
The post holder will be required to work flexibly across broader transformation workstreams as required, based on the review of local priorities.

Qualifications
* Educational achievement to Degree or relevant professional qualifications plus further development and/or experience to masters degree equivalency.
