As the Telephone and Network Engineer for the team, you will help with the smooth running of the Server & Storage infrastructure. Troubleshooting 3rd line issues and planning for future developments and technologies to ensure maximum system availability across the organisation to improve the service to internal and external customers.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Experience of working in an ITIL environment and managing successful projects.
2. Implementing and administering Linux server systems – Ideally CentOS / Redhat.
3. Experience of implementing and administering telecoms infrastructure including Asterisk, openSIPS, Avaya CM5.
4. Experience of running MS SQL / MySQL queries.
5. Implementing and administering network infrastructure including LAN, WAN (MPLS), SIP, and Firewalls in a Cisco environment.
6. Experience of F5 Load balancers.
7. Implementing and administering Windows server systems – 2008 / 2012.
8. Implementing and administering VMware environments (vSphere 5.x, vCentre).
9. Implementing and administering HP servers / blades and Hitachi (HUS) storage hardware or similar experience in other vendors' technology.
10. Experience of enterprise monitoring solutions.
11. Experience of Avaya ACD, CMS, and call recording solutions.
