Role: Commercial Accountant - SAP Implementation: Ireland & UK
Location: HARIBO Castleford/Pontefract (Hybrid working- 3 days per week in either of the 2 offices and 2 from home)

Haribo are about to embark on the process of moving to a new Enterprise Resource Planning Software known as SAP. This move will align our system with other HARIBO countries that have already recently made the move over. This role will predominantly support the SAP project implementation in our Ireland subsidiary and the integration to the UK operation. This will cover all aspects of sales transaction processing through to end to end Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet and cashflow accounting, as well as the commercial and performance analysis and reporting.

How you’ll contribute to the mix:
Support the project lead in the process mapping, masterdata set up and documentation ahead of SAP implementation, and the reporting and analysis set up for the post SAP world. Enabling more streamlined, flexible and usable reporting post SAP implementation
Work closely with the SAP implementation team, UK and Ireland finance teams to ensure a well prepared and controlled migration to SAP. Bringing experience to help our business navigate the transition, and to leverage the full capability of SAP to better manage and understand the business performance.
Can you supply our essential ingredients?
1. Previous SAP knowledge/experience essential. Both use of SAP in a commercial environment and in transitioning from previous systems to SAP.
2. Process mapping and documentation experience
3. Working knowledge of management accounts (P&L’s, Balance Sheet, Cashflow & financial analysis), and using financial data to analyse and understand business performance.
4. Advanced Excel skills. Comfortable handling large volumes of data with control and accuracy, and an ability to analyse that data into meaningful information.
5. Professional and confident manner combined with curiosity and a desire to achieve the best possible outcome on a project
6. Qualified Accountant ACCA/CIMA/ACA
7. Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels
8. Ability to motivate self to achieve deadlines
9. Strong level of attention to detail
10. Movex/M3 software knowledge is desirable, but not essential
11. Own transport required as travel between the Castleford and Pontefract sites will be required, as well as some limited travel to Ireland.
