We are looking for a Head of Quality (Laboratory Services) to join our Quality and Regulation team. Title: Head of Quality Laboratory Services Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum (dependent on experience and Head Office location) Contract: Permanent, full time Hours: 35 per week (standard Anthony Nolan working hours) Location: London or Nottingham, hybrid working (2 days on-site per week) Job Summary The Head of Quality (Laboratory Services) will oversee the integration and maintenance of the Quality and Regulation (QR) function within Anthony Nolan’s laboratory services, including their quality management system (QMS). This includes ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards across divisions like the H&I Laboratory and Cell Therapy Centre. The role requires providing leadership, quality management support and provide QR training such as on QMS tools. In this role, you will lead the development and maintenance of an effective quality management system (QMS), including electronic systems such as Q-pulse. You will manage a small team, together as a team you will ensure Anthony Nolan’s licenses and accreditations are maintained. Working closely with your team you will ensure full compliance with accreditation standards (ISO 15189, FACT NetCord and JACIE), and drive quality improvements across the organisation and effectively manage internal audits. As a person designated under the Human Tissue Authority (HTA) you will oversee regulatory submissions. Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders will be key to ensuring Anthony Nolan plans effectively for changes to the regulatory environment. This role is ideal for a proactive, experienced quality management leader looking to contribute to a meaningful mission while driving service excellence in a dynamic regulatory landscape. Desirable to have experience working under HTA, ISO 15189, FACT NetCord or JACIE standards. What’s in it for you?
