Job Title - Marketing Manager
Location - Maidstone (Remote)
Salary - £30k - £35k
We have a new exciting opportunity for an experienced Marketing Manager to join a growing specialist Construction Company who are based near Maidstone in Kent. This is a remote role with occasional travel to Head Office, Sites and Exhibitions, if required. The successful candidate will demonstrate a hands-on proactive approach and be able to work alone and as part of a growing team.
Key Requirements
1. 2-4 years of experience in a marketing, campaign, or lead generation role
2. Strong written and visual communication skills
3. Familiarity with email tools (Mailchimp, HubSpot, etc.) and CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress or Wix)
4. Experience using Canva, PowerPoint, or other design tools
5. Self-motivated, well-organised, and confident working independently
6. Bonus: experience in education, construction, or outdoor play sectors
Key Duties
1. Lead Generation & Campaigns
Plan and run targeted marketing campaigns to generate qualified leads.
Build simple email automations and outreach strategies (e.g. for schools, councils, nurseries).
Identify new market opportunities and maintain prospect lists.
2. Email & CRM Marketing
Create and schedule email campaigns using platforms like Mailchimp or ActiveCampaign.
Segment and manage mailing lists for tailored outreach.
Support the sales team with lead nurturing content.
3. Website & Content Management
Maintain and update the company website (e.g. new projects, product updates, blog content).
Ensure landing pages are optimised for SEO and conversions.
Work with developers or designers when required.
4. Testimonials & Case Studies
Collect and write up client testimonials.
Create polished case studies from completed projects.
Liaise with the project and installation teams to gather relevant info.
5. Event Support (Behind the Scenes)
Design and prepare printed materials for exhibitions and school/trade events.
Assist with branded displays, banners, and lead capture forms.
Coordinate post-event follow-ups to convert leads.
While this role is primarily behind-the-scenes, there may occasionally be opportunities to represent the company at events, exhibitions, or internal presentations.
6. Presentations & Sales Materials
Create clear, professional sales decks and branded PDFs.
Assist the sales team with proposal visuals and messaging.
7. Strategy & Reporting
Contribute to the wider marketing strategy.
Track key metrics and campaign performance.
Keep up to date with competitor activity and sector trends.
