We are looking for a dedicated IT Technical Coordinator to join the company, to manage key business software applications, infrastructure landscape, including ERP. Someone who can translate business needs into technical requirements and helps deliver the required functionality Responsibilities: Research and implement cost effective IT solutions for the company. Maintain a local cost-effective budget for IT Department. Assure and liaise with external IT providers to develop and optimise company productivity. Assure data quality of integrated IT platforms, including infrastructure and applications. Provide applications support for other locations within the group. Ensure application lifecycle management activities are performed timely e.g., upgrades, regression testing for customisations, decommissioning of components etc. Assess business requirements impacting application landscape. Engage application development and maintenance team to plan and execute the approved changes. Maintain application catalogue for key business applications, including total cost of ownership and underlying technical stack. Liaise with managers and other staff on the introduction and use of computer equipment and associated systems to full quality solutions deployment. Assure maintenance services levels from third party contractors and maintenance companies. Maintain external contacts and contracts with third parties relevant to the company. Manage third-party IT contractors. Implementation of new, transition, or modified computer hardware and software including setting up and training where necessary. Maintain IT inventory of IT hardware and consumables. Advise on, rationalise, and coordinate network alterations including relocation of outlets and sites for workstations. Assure full systems documentation of PC locations, specifications, and licensing requirements. Communications Monitoring network traffic and fault level tolerance on servers, hubs, routers, and other networking equipment, taking corrective action as necessary to maintain an uninterrupted service to users. Controls of server access, levels and e-mail accounts including e-mail maintenance. · Create, modify, make ready disaster recovery procedures for key business applications. · Carry out fault diagnosis of hardware and software faults, including effecting repairs, fault reporting and provision for future security / reliability. Identify, interrogate, and define IT problems on the network, software and hardware, and implement logical and effective solutions. Manage technical issues arising from software or hardware faults, liaising with users, help desks, engineers and external consultants as required. Maintain robust system back-up procedures. Knowledge/Skills, Expertise and Education Requirements · Good operating knowledge of Microsoft servers, Windows and other Office applications. · Keen and enthusiastic to develop IT architecture and applications. Able to build good professional relationships at all levels both inside and outside of the business. Working knowledge of Visual Basic, SQL and server architecture. Ability to prioritise workload and plan. Effective problem-solving skills. Ability to analyse data effectively. Good communicator at all levels. Ability to manage time effectively.
