ACCOUNTS PAYABLE MANAGER
£40,000 P/A

SF Recruitment are delighted to be working with our Client in Nottingham for an Accounts Payable Manager working in a vibrant office environment. The successful candidate will be leading the Accounts Payable team and delivering process improvements within the accounts payable department.
Duties:
1. Providing day to day management to the team.
2. Supporting the Finance Operations Manager with the PDR process.
3. Managing and coordinating the team's workload.
4. Leading on department process improvements by working closely with the Financial Controller and Chief Financial Officer.
5. Regular reporting and monitoring of KPIs for the Financial Controller.
6. Managing purchase ledger.
7. Training new starters.
8. Liaising with internal and external customers/suppliers to ensure timely resolution of queries.
9. Monitoring the electronic approval system, ensuring queries are resolved in a timely manner.
10. Managing any escalated issues.
11. Auditing and approving inputted purchase invoices across multiple companies and currencies.
12. Ensuring valid, accurate and timely supplier payments.
13. Auditing and approving payment runs in multiple currencies.
14. Providing a consistently high level of customer service.
15. Any other duties as and when required.
Due to the nature of this role, you will have had previous purchase ledger and management experience alongside management experience in a high-volume environment and will be confident in helping with training and dealing with any escalations. You will also have excellent communication skills and be happy to work in a job share scenario.
