Your main responsibility will be to assist with all aspects of
group/individual bookings and scheduled events across all our sites
pre-book
and plan a great night out, event, party or function and with high levels of
repeat and referral business and hundreds of existing leads & customer
relationship
Upham Inns are a collection of idyllic pubs with rooms
located in beautiful locations across Southern England. As a Sales and Events
Manager, your role is to support our unique collection of pubs with events and
activities to grow their sales.
We are looking for somebody with bags of energy, entrepreneurial
flare, a real “can do” attitude and somebody who gets results! There will be a
requirement to drive as many or our pubs are in picturesque rural locations
(travelling expenses will be paid)
This role is about driving business into our pubs, bedrooms and
function spaces to ensure that running events is key to our future success. Be
it a party night in one of our Harpers Steakhouses, weddings at the George Inn
in Longbridge Deverill, birthday celebrations at the Hawk Inn or an event night
at the Wheelwrights, this role is about getting extra business into our
pubs.
Working with the individual pub General Managers, and supported
by our marketing and Central Reservations team, your role will include
supporting the pub teams to create and run key event nights and activities,
developing a suite of packages that the pubs can use to run regulate events,
liaising with customers to curate their own specific event and function needs,
and managing and finding new corporate customers and online listings.
Basically, finding all ways to maximise the extra sales revenue opportunities
across our pubs, bedrooms and function spaces.

Most of our pubs have some Charming Bedrooms as well. New to our growing family is Harper’s Steakhouse, a new premium American Steakhouse brand that we started rolling out last year.
