The post holder will play a key role in supporting the operational team to effectively manage general dental and optometry services within the Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board (CTMUHB) footprint.
The role will play a key function is managing a central waiting list for general dental services ensuring that a regularly validated list is maintained
The role will also involve the provision of Personal Secretary support to the Directorate Manager and Dental Director within the service, · Provide a comprehensive, high-quality secretarial and administrative service within the Primary Care Dental and Optometry team.
· Be key in supporting operational activity such as waiting list management for General Dental Services, including regular validation to ensure information held is up-to-date and accurate as well as regular contact with patients and contractors.
· Work closely with senior leaders to provide Personal Secretary support such as diary management, arranging and minuting meetings and managing follow-up actions.
Work independently and have the knowledge and experience to respond to the changing needs of the service and will be expected to problem solve in areas of work, supporting with the development of effective processes.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply
