About the Role As the Laboratory Manager, you will play a vital role in leading and managing laboratory operations, overseeing testing services, and ensuring compliance with industry standards like BS EN ISO, ASTM, and ASME. Key Responsibilities Testing & Compliance: Oversee and participate in mechanical and metallographic testing, ensuring accurate, repeatable, and reliable results for clients across various sectors. Leadership & Team Development: Manage a skilled team of laboratory staff, provide training, and drive a culture of continuous improvement. Quality Standards: Ensure all lab processes meet quality management requirements and regulatory standards, maintaining a safe, efficient, and productive environment. Equipment & Calibration: Oversee the calibration, maintenance, and operation of laboratory equipment to ensure consistent, top-quality testing results. Who We’re Looking For This role is perfect for a professional with a background in metallurgy, materials science, engineering, or a similar field. You should have experience managing lab operations, familiarity with quality standards, and a knack for data analysis and interpretation.
