Warehouse Manager
£30-£35k per annum, plus benefits, plus profit bonus starting @ 3%

Full Time, Monday to Thursday, 8.30am to 5pm and Friday, 8.30am to 4pm
Concept Recruitment are delighted to be working with our Holmfirth based client to recruit an experience Warehouse Manager on a permanent, full time basis.
You will be managing a small team and will be responsible for handling and overviewing all daily tasks in the warehouse such as deliveries and collections, Order processing, carrying out stock modifications, picking and packing, dispatch, covering absences etc.
Responsibilities will include:
Coordinate and monitor the receipt, order, assembly and dispatch of stock, ensuring that goods and stock flow safely, smoothly and consistently in and out of the warehouse
Ensure that quality, budgetary targets and environmental objectives are met
Liaise with customers, suppliers and transport companies, as well as other departments such as procurement and customer service, to ensure orders are fulfilled on time
Respond to and deal with customer communication by email and telephone
Keep stock control systems up to date and make sure inventories are accurate
Optimise storage space and plan future capacity requirements we have a large stock with restricted space, good organizational skills are essential.
Assist with the recruitment and training of warehouse staff
Supervise warehouse staff, assigning tasks and monitoring their performance and progress to ensure productivity and quality targets are met
Implement and maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the work environment.
Oversee the planned maintenance of vehicles, machinery and equipment and ensure that all necessary tools, ancillary equipment and parts are kept at the correct levels to maintain smooth production.
have a clear understanding of the company's policies and vision and how the warehouse contributes to these.
You will be overwatching the quality and productivity of the warehouse team and where necessary putting systems in place to improve both.
Skills:
Some engineering or experience using hand tools is desirable but not essential.
Forklift licenses are required, both Counterbalance and Reach, but training would be offered to the right candidate.
Ability to multitask when needed, being enthusiastic and motivated with good attention to detail as accuracy is essential.
Basic computer skills are required, but full training will be provided for use of the in-house stock control systems.
