Job Opportunity: Industrial Electrician (Installation Projects)

Multitask Personnel is collaborating with a well-established Industrial Electrical Engineering Contractor that has been delivering exceptional services across various industry sectors in the UK for the past 25 years. The company is renowned for its quality service and extensive range of electrical solutions provided on Industrial sites, including quarries, large factories, and waste treatment plants.
We’re recruiting for a number of Industrial Electricians to work around the Nottinghamshire area on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
On-Site Installation: Work as part of the project installation team at customer sites, executing electrical tasks assigned by the Project Leader/Supervisor.
Health & Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to all site rules and Health & Safety regulations. In case of uncertainty, proactively seek guidance from the Supervisor.
Cable Management: Install, gland, and terminate a variety of multi-core cables (XPLE/SWA), and handle the fabrication and installation of ladder, tray, and basket containment.
Equipment Installation: Install control equipment, Motor Control Centres (MCCs), isolators, distribution boards, emergency stops, various instrumentation (e.g., rotation sensors, level sensors), and industrial single-phase and 3-phase Star and Delta motors.
Qualifications & Experience:
ECS Registered: Fully qualified Gold Card including AM2.
Wiring Regulations: Qualified in BS7671 18th or 17th edition.
Driving Licence: Valid UK driving license required.
Industry Background: Experience in Aggregates, Cement, Mining, Rail, Water, or other heavy industries is highly desirable.

Salary: Circa £50k including OT
Pension: NEST Scheme with 4% company contribution.
Holidays: 24 days per year plus 8 statutory holidays.

Working Hours: Average working hours are 50hrs per week (40hrs basic/10hrs at OT rate)
Work Location: Project sites with occasional visits to the clients office.
Tools: All PPE, specialist tools, and testers provided by the company
