FM Conway is currently recruiting for a professional and motivated Service Advisor to work within our Plant and Workshop division. As our Service Advisor, you will be overseeing planned and reactive maintenance to ensure both legislative statutory requirements and operator licence requirements are fully met and adhered too, also to ensure down time is minimised. This is a permanent, full time position based from our Dartford depot.
The duties of our Service Advisor will include:
- Acting as a principal point of contact for enquiries reference transport and fleet maintenance queries
- Liaising with third party workshops and leasing companies on booking requirements and that associated paperwork is received and is correct
- Utilising booking management system to notify operational teams on booking dates
- Checking fleet tracking system, Samsara, and liaising with the fleet operational teams to ensure that vehicles are presented to the respective workshops at the allocated booking
- Raising and closing job cards within Freeway, ensuring all required and relevant documentation and back up information has been uploaded within the job card
- Dealing with enquires and booking in vehicles at the service counter in workshop reception, listing any known driver’s defects and communicating to workshop
What skills and experience do you need?
We are looking for a professional and confident candidate, who has experience of communicating with a variety of people via telephone, email, and face to face. It is essential that the successful applicant has previous experience in a service advisor role, or similar position.
