Job Overview:
This team plays a key role in advising clients on operational transaction aspects and maximising value. They specialise in supporting clients through the design and implementation of organization-wide change initiatives, ensuring the creation of sustainable legacies. The team’s involvement spans the deal life cycle, providing critical insights not only during the pre-deal phase but throughout the transaction and beyond.
This group works with both corporate and private equity clients in the financial services sector, including specialist lending, insurance, and investment management. They offer a wide array of services, from supporting small business sales to large-scale mergers and acquisitions. Core offerings include carve-outs, synergy assessments, integrations, operational due diligence, and post-deal value creation.
The team often collaborates internationally, working alongside other global member firms. They are recognized as a global centre of excellence in operational deal services.
Role Overview:
* Leading day-to-day client relationships across various project sizes, including managing client meetings, workshops, presentations, and report drafting.
* Analyzing complex data, identifying business challenges, and applying technical expertise to deliver optimal client solutions.
* Creating a positive and collaborative team environment, demonstrating leadership and actively participating with team members.
* Developing sales proposals and leveraging established networks to generate new business opportunities.
* Promoting the services of the firm, cross-selling offerings, and raising awareness of the team internally.
* Supporting the professional development of managers, assistants, and associates by providing training, feedback, and ongoing support.
* Managing project budgets, ensuring costs align with the budget and monitoring financial performance.
Required Qualifications:
* A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent).
* Extensive experience in at least two of the core service offerings (carve-outs, synergy assessments, integrations, operational due diligence, or post-deal value realization), with expertise in one or more of the following sectors: specialist lending, insurance, or investment management. Candidates with retail banking experience may also be considered if their expertise aligns with one of these sectors.
* Proven experience leading teams in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
* Background in professional services or advisory roles, particularly on transactions, and a demonstrated ability to prepare high-quality reports, analysis, and presentations.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
* Project management and/or change management experience.
* Exceptional analytical skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.

* Accounting or finance qualification.
* Program management certification.
