Who You Are You are an experienced leader in social work with a deep understanding of working within a children and families fieldwork setting. You hold a professional Social Work Qualification (Dip.SW/CQSW/CSS), current GSCC registration, and, ideally, a management qualification or NVQ equivalent. What the Job Involves As a Team Manager, you will lead and develop a Social Work Team service focused on children, young people, and their families. Your responsibilities include allocating resources and managing service delivery to ensure high-quality outcomes while maintaining value for money. You will make key decisions regarding resource allocation, ensure the team's work aligns with statutory obligations and departmental policies, and oversee supervision and training. You will also manage budgets, implement action plans, chair meetings, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, legislation, and policies. Additionally, you will foster participation from service users and manage complaints and client information effectively.
