About the role
As a Learning and Delivery Partner, you will collaborate with senior stakeholders to define the strategic direction for functional learning. Your role involves identifying current and future capability needs, contributing to the overarching Group Tesco Capability strategy alongside fellow Capability Partners within the PoE. Additionally, you’ll work closely with the Capability Design team and Tesco Business Services (TBS) to shape, influence, and take ownership of capability development for your specific business area.
Your approach will be visible, responsive, and influential as you build strong relationships across the organisation. Regular travel throughout the UK is expected.

You will be responsible for
* Partnering with senior stakeholders to influence and develop strategic direction for functional learning from a Group perspective.
* Leading robust, data-led learning needs analysis to develop and deliver prioritised market-focused capability plans.
* Working collaboratively with other Capability Partners to ensure a rounded view of market-needs within functional plans.
* Driving value through business-wide learning offerings to ensure a consistent approach across all learning products and platforms.
* Partnering with people business partners, talent partners and POE teams to ensure alignment to the overall colleague experience.
* Championing the core learning offer for colleagues, managers and leaders.
* Owning any safe and legal training specific to your market and collaborating with TBS to create compliant content.
* Ensuring your function(s) follow all governance processes and prioritising work in line with group capability's plans.
* Contributing to establishing a world-class Group PoE within Capability.
* Leading the market capability strategy including Learning Tech experience and governance.
* Championing and role modeling our Win Together behaviours.
You will need
* Background in operations - For example, retail, distribution, manufacturing or hospitality.
* Experience in setting group-wide capability strategies and gaining engagement.
* Senior stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
* Knowledge of latest learning trends and how people learn.
* Proven understanding of diversity and inclusion challenges and opportunities.
* Demonstrable knowledge of learning and development interventions and providers.
* Strong network of learning specialists to draw on external best practice.
