Applicants should be individuals from any clinical discipline who are fully registered with the General Medical Council and have a keen interest in medical education. You will have completed your Foundation Year 2 training and usually be within 5 years of graduation.
These Medical Education Fellow positions represent an excellent opportunity to be part of the growing team developing and delivering an innovative MBBS programme for the newest medical school in London. The experience gained will enhance your medical education portfolio. Funding is available towards costs for those keen to pursue a postgraduate education qualification.
Main duties of the job
Successful applicants will join a team of Medical Education Fellows and work collaboratively to contribute to various aspects of the programme. This may include teaching clinical skills, communication skills or anatomy. Other areas of contribution may include curriculum development, assessment and student selection. In-house training will be provided.

Qualifications
* MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
* Registered with the General Medical Council (GMC), with the licence to practise
* The individual has no requirement to maintain their GMC licence to practise during the appointment
* Experience of teaching a range of topics in the subject area to UG/PG students
* Ability to provide clear and constructive feedback to colleagues
* Ability to respond positively to constructive feedback
* Communicate new and complex information effectively engaging the interest and enthusiasm of the target audience
* Professional approach to work
* Postgraduate medical education qualification
* Experience of contributing to the design, delivery and/or evaluation of written and/or Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCEs)
* Experience of producing high-quality teaching materials and resources
* Experience of online education; development of materials and/or delivery
* Interest in/experience of interprofessional learning
* Involvement in scholarly / educational and/or professional/practice-based projects
