We have an exciting new opportunity within our team; we are looking to recruit a Debt Advice Caseworker, within the Debt Team.
We are expanding our Money Advice team and have a number of vacancies for Debt Caseworkers and Debt Relief Order Approved Intermediaries to deliver advice and support to clients over the telephone and by webchat. The role involves managing a caseload, meeting targets, and working to a high-quality standard. The successful candidate would be based in either our National Debt Advice Helpline or our National Debt Relief Order Hub.
The Debt Advice Caseworker will provide a high-quality advice and casework service to the organisation’s clients in debt and money management advice. They will also provide mentoring and support to other workers which helps to develop their skills and expertise in debt and money management advice.
Trained debt advisers will be required to work at least one later shift (12.00pm until 8.00pm) from home during the week and occasionally on Saturday mornings on a Rota basis.
Role
Flexibility is a key characteristic of all our posts and the post-holder may be asked to carry out other tasks consistent with the grade from time to time. Below are the details for the role and how to apply:
Hours: 37.5 per week
Salary: £24,380 - £27,163 depending on qualifications and experience.
Location: Festival Park, Stoke on Trent

If you are an experienced debt adviser who can confidently provide complex debt advice and ongoing casework we would love to hear from you. Being an approved DRO intermediary and holding the IMA Certificate of Money Advice Practice (CertMAP) is desirable. If not, we can support your ongoing professional development.
Alternatively, this role is also available as a trainee position. If you have recent experience delivering generalist advice, combined with some knowledge of debt advice, you will benefit from our accelerated training programme.
