Principal Duties & Responsibilities 1.Nursing BP monitoring including 24 hour Urinalysis Phlebotomy Recording of fridge temperatures Perform other routine laboratory tests Prepare patients for examinations Assist other clinical members when necessary Weight monitoring when requested and referral to weight management program Record ECGs including 24 hour Ensure clinical waste collection runs smoothly, reporting any problems to Lead Practice Nurse or Practice Manager Assist with Minor ops and Contraception clinics when trained to do so Administer IM injections for Flu and B12 under patient specific directive Ensure sharps bins are ready for collection 2.Administration Participate in the administrative and professional responsibilities of the practice team Ensure accurate notes of all consultations and treatments are recorded on the patients notes & clinical computer is kept up to date with accurate details recorded Ensure appropriate read codes are entered accurately, reporting any problems to the Practice Manager Attend and participate in practice meetings as required Restocking and maintenance of clinical areas; ordering as directed/delegated.
