Job Description:
At Caring Kindergartens, our focus is dedicated to nurturing children at every level of our practice. We are currently seeking enthusiastic individuals eager to make a difference in the lives of our young learners. This full-time role requires availability Monday through Friday on a rotating schedule, with working hours spanning from 7.30am to 6.00pm.
Main Responsibilities:
* Work alongside the Nursery Manager to ensure safeguarding measures are undertaken and the nursery operates efficiently.
* Provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social, and intellectual care for all children.
* Work as part of a team to provide an enabling environment for children to play, develop, and learn.
* Keep records of key children's development and learning journeys.
* Create an exciting environment to meet individual children's needs.
* Maintain a good standard of safety, hygiene, and cleanliness.
* Have fun daily.
To be successful in your application, you will need:
* A suitable Level 3 childcare qualification recognized by the Department for Education.
* A good understanding of the EYFS.
* Excellent understanding of the English language, both spoken and written.
* A good understanding of safeguarding practices.
* Previous childcare experience in an early years setting.
* Cleared DBS check before commencing work.
* The ability to extend children’s learning through high-quality experiences and activities.
* The ability to manage a team of practitioners and lead a nursery in the absence of the Nursery Manager.
* Good communication skills with both adults and children.
* A commitment to reflective practice and self-development.
