Behaviour Support Specialist - Oxford

Our highly inclusive school in Oxford is looking for a Behaviour Support Specialist to join their team starting as soon as possible.
They prioritise student inclusivity and development and ensure that the learning environment is a place where students will thrive despite the challenges they face.
This is a great opportunity for those who are looking to really make a difference in the lives of students who need additional support. Your role will involve working with students who have severe emotional and mental health needs. The students struggle with high levels of stress, anxiety, and emotional dysregulation. They need support to manage and process their emotions. They have never been modeled healthy ways to cope with their stress, so the focus will be on their emotional and mental well-being.
You will collaborate with parents and caregivers to offer guidance and support and follow through with any interventions set out in their EHCPs. The role is to start as soon as possible.
To be considered, you must have a good attitude, be positive and empathetic, and understand the importance of safeguarding. You will need a full enhanced DBS check to be considered for the role, but don't worry if you don't have one; we can support your application.
