We are seeking a dedicated Engineer - Mech/Steam/HTHW to join our team at HMP The Mount, a category C & adult/male prison. We are a Ministry of Justice business and provide critical and time-bound services to HMPPS, and are looking for an Engineer - Mech/Steam/HTHW with any combination of:
1. Two years' experience working in a role as a steam boiler operator or equivalent
2. Must be familiar with and able to work to Water Supply Regulation and Control of Legionella L8 requirements
3. Must be familiar with and able to work to BG01 - safe operation of boilers
4. Experience working on commercial or industrial steam, heating and water systems
5. Plumber qualified to C&G 6035 (Plumbing), C&G 6189 (Plumbing and heating) and NVQ level 3 in Plumbing or equivalent
6. BOAS accredited boiler operator course or equivalent
7. Good Health & Safety knowledge
8. Excellent organisational, time management and people skills
