CNC Machinist
Location: Leamington Spa
Shift: Days - 39-hours per week
Salary: A£30,000-A£35,000 per annum, dependant on experience

Our client, a leader in the field of manufacturing with a reputation for innovation and quality, is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join their fast-paced, dynamic team in Leamington Spa. As a CNC Machinist, your role will involve working with a range of machinery, requiring experience in milling, turning, and grinding, and confidence in setting and operation.
The successful CNC Machinist can expect to develop their skills working within a high precision engineering sector on prototype and small batch production, predominantly with Haas 3 and 5 axis machines. Ideally, candidates should have some programming experience using Fusion 360 software.
Responsibilities:
1. Previous CNC Setting and Operating experience on the required machinery.
2. Experience in Fanuc controls.
3. Ability to read CAD Drawings.
4. Checking parts and elements of assembly of parts.
5. Previous experience in CAD CAM systems.
6. Surface grinding and manual milling experience would be beneficial.
7. 2, 3, and 4 axis milling experience.
8. Experience working with mild steel, aluminium, nylon, plastic, stainless steel, tool steel, and gauge plate.
The ideal CNC Machinist will have:
1. Experience as a CNC Machinist or similar within an Engineering or Manufacturing environment.
2. Ideally have knowledge or understanding of the automotive industry.
3. Basic programming experience using Fusion 360 software.
4. Knowledge of dimensions/tolerances.
5. Adaptable and flexible attitude, wanting to grow and develop with the company.
6. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
In return, the successful CNC Machinist can benefit from a salary of up to A£35K, dependant on experience, on-site parking, break-out room, 21 days holiday + Bank Holidays, company pension, 4-day summer shutdown, and Christmas break.
Working Hours:
Monday - Thursday 08:00-17:00 and Friday 08:00-13:30
Monday - Thursday 30-minute lunch break.
