Job summary An exiting opportunity has arisen to join our team at the Urgent Treatment Centre in Herne Bay. We are looking for an experienced Receptionist. This role will be approx. 22 per week. The successful candidate will be required to cover shifts between 7:45 am to 8:00 pm (Monday to Sunday inclusive of bank holidays) on a rota basis. Main duties of the job To be responsible for undertaking a wide range of reception duties and the provision of general support to the multidisciplinary team. Duties can include but are not limited to, greeting and directing patients, effective use of the appointment system, booking appointments, processing of information and assisting patients as required. To act as the central point of contact for patients, the distribution of information, messages and enquiries for the clinical team, liaising with multidisciplinary team members and external agencies such as secondary care and community service providers. Urgent Treatment Centres (UTCs) provide treatment for minor injuries and illnesses that are urgent but not life threatening.
